Phaedra Chrousos

Director of the Board

Phaedra Chrousos Luyten is the Chief Operating Officer of Space Leasing International (SLI), Libra Group’s aerospace subsidiary. SLI provides capital solutions to operators, governments, and innovators that are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in space.

She was formerly Chief Strategy Officer of SLI’s Parent company, Libra Group, where she spent a decade launching new businesses, including SLI, and future-proofing the Group’s global portfolio spanning land, sea, sky, and now space.

Prior to joining Libra, Phaedra served in the Obama Administration, where she helped lead digital transformation efforts across government. She co-founded the Technology Transformation Service and helped to pass the $1B Modernizing Government Technology Act, creating new ways for government to adopt modern tools. Before government, Phaedra co-founded two venture-backed tech companies and learned firsthand how Silicon Valley ideas can translate into public impact.

Phaedra remains deeply engaged in early-stage innovation as an angel investor and board member. She currently serves on the boards of Vanda Pharmaceuticals, Libra Philanthropies, and the Beeck Center at Georgetown University.
