Ingrid Nkongho, PsyD

Ingrid Nkongho, PsyD is highly experienced in supporting patients with a wide range of mental health challenges across the developmental lifespan of motherhood, including perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), pregnancy loss, and fertility issues. She also works with patients who are ambivalent about or navigating the decision to become pregnant, as well as those with a history of relational trauma.

Dr. Nkongho earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. She completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Skidmore College and New York University, respectively. Having completed clinical training in both the United States and Hong Kong, she is well-versed in working with clients from diverse backgrounds across a variety of settings, including school and university counseling, community mental health, hospital, and private practice. She completed her postdoctoral training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies.

Dr. Nkongho has pursued additional training in PMADs, grief, loss, and fertility-related distress through Seleni.

JUST DO IT. It's a bit cheesy, but I like a simple mantra to untangle when feeling immobilized. It is action-oriented and encourages one to start. You can always modify. But start. Start where you are and see where it takes you.
