Our August Newsletter

August 2022 – This month we celebrate National Wellness Month, a time to focus on self-care, stress management and creating healthy routines for ourselves. We started off this month marking World Breastfeeding Week, bringing light not only to the benefits of breastfeeding but also to the challenges many new moms can face, as well as the importance of mom choosing feeding options that are best for her and her baby.

We also recognize the stresses that come with kids going back to school at this time of year, which makes self-care even more important. Some stress can be related to our own children's feelings of anxiety, so read on for some tips to help them cope, too. And if you're looking to go back to school as well, we encourage you to take advantage of this month's course discount and our new free lesson on Major Depressive Disorder. Be sure to invite others to apply for the current round of Seleni's Maternal Mental Health Scholarship to support practitioners working in underserved communities.

As always, Seleni is here to help and we encourage you to please reach out to us if you or a loved one needs support.
